Hi John,
My Grandmother (aged 104years) just passed away. She was older than the American Legion and was
always interested in the lofty cause of world peace. Considering what she lived though, I completely
understand why. Has anyone entertained the idea of simply replacing the books (KORAN/QURAN) that
were accidently destroyed. It would be a great GOODWILL gesture on our part...Think about it and pray...

Sorry to here about you
Sorry to here about you Grandmother's passing. She lived a full life and I'll say a special prayer for the peace she deservses. More than likely there are replacement Korans in stock there just waiting to be requisitioned. It just no surprise that the commenters on the American Legion Online Update don't post any of their comments on here. Take care.

John-
For whatever reason, my commenters tend to comment in absolute droves AFTER the online update comes out, but not so much during the week. Fully 95% of my comments are either from Thursday or Friday. Also, they tend to come in bunches. If I get 10 comments, I get 100, but up to that magic number, comments are freakishly low.

You know something, a long time ago there was well known phrase amongst the rank and file. "loose lips sinks ships", refering to giving away a ship's position to a hostile force (enemy). I believe someone probably misinterpeted that for censorship or not being able to speak your mind.(brainwashing?) A little common sense is needed here. We live in a free nation thanks to our veterans.
